Everyone is looking forward to the summer holidays to rest, travel or have fun, but some of us wine nerds set ourselves an extra task which is little understood by the rest of humanity: to spend our time off in places where wine is made and get a chance to visit wineries and vineyards and taste as many gorgeous wines as we can.

The photos in this gallery are just a taster; I don’t pretend to win a Pulitzer Prize with them, but they capture fun moments when wine was present. That’s the name of the game. Both Amaya Cervera and myself plan to share other shots but we would love to receive yours at info@spanishwinelover.com with the hashtag #SWLsummer on the subject of your email. Please tell us also your name and where the picture was taken.

The funniest, those that make us jealous or simply those shots that capture happiness with a glass (or bottle) of wine in hand, will be shared on our social media pages. At the end of the summer, we will publish a final recap with the photos of our Top Spanish Wine Lovers to start September with a smile.
