The first vintage year in which the winery’s reserve was designated as Selección Especial (“special selection”). Ruby in colour with a slightly tawny rim. On the nose, there are aromas of leather, fruit in liqueur, sweet spice (cinnamon), roasted meat, as well as a smokiness with a note of embers. Silky on the palate, with lots of acidity and flavours of fruit in liqueur, leather and game, as well as an inky quality and persistent finish. 17.0 points
