Viña Arana Reserva 2006 Tinto

La Rioja Alta, Rioja

Light ruby colour. Kirsch, leather, sweet spices, pastry and dairy aromas. Tasty on the palate with sweet fruit and spices and a lovely round texture; a balanced and very pleasant to drink red wine. This is a classic Rioja with an easily recognisable style. 2006 was a hot vintage in which no Viña Ardanza or Gran Reserva were made thus all the best grapes ended up here. 200,000 bottles produced. 16.0 points
