Terreus Paraje de Cueva Baja 2012 Tinto

Mauro, Castilla y León

Dark ruby color with purple rim. This is a big, energetic wine which nevertheless manages to deliver finesse and sophistication. Complex nose showing expressive, vivid red fruit (plum, raspberry jam), vermouth herbs and cocoa aromas. It really fills your palate with richness; lovely texture, big, yet balanced and with some juiciness. Yummy and fine. Great vintage for Terreus and one of the best wines you can get from the Duero area in the 2012 vintage. 18.5 points
