TASTING NOTES

El Ciruelo 2014 Tinto

Suertes del Marqués, Valle de la Orotava

Grapes are sourced from a north-facing plot with less than 1ha trained with the traditional cordón trenzado system. Volcanic soils here are covered by a loam-sandy layer. This is an expressive, aromatic red displaying more structure than La Solana and packed with fresh Atlantic forest notes. Superb red showcasing the Canary Islands character at its best. Really worth the money. 17.5 points
