José Gil La Cóncova 2016 Tinto

José Gil, Rioja

Ripe fruit (blackberries, blueberries) with fine oak notes on the background that don’t hide the fruit. Balanced, consistent palate with some earthy notes on the end. Firm tannins so the wine will benefit form a few months of cellaring. Persistent and with good potential. 16.5 points
