This is a good example of how to add value and excitement to a well-established area like Ribera del Duero. Although white wines are not allowed in the appellation, the best cuvées are becoming niche wines. Made in tiny quantities, these rare wines usually command high prices. Dominio del Pidio is particularly outstanding: a consistent, structured white with an enveloping palate balanced by vibrant acidity. Wine connoisseurs will love this wine. 17.0 points
