Nankurunaisa, a Japanese word meaning "everything will be all right", is the only tricky bit about this wine. This partnership between two great producers from Alicante, Rafa Bernabé and Pepe Mendoza, results in a vin de soif aged in tinajas crafted by Padilla that tastes like pure grape juice. A clean, crisp red with enveloping alcohol (it does not hide its Mediterranean origin) and an explosion of aromatic herbs on the palate. Light but firm and full of charm. 16.5 points
