In 1995, La Rioja Alta, S.A. bought this château-style property in Rioja. Located in Páganos, a hamlet of Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa, the stylish manor house, surrounded by vineyards, is an ideal place to make single vineyard wines, as opposed to the historic Haro winery, which specialises in blends.

2005 marked a turning point at Torre de Oña, when a comprehensive soil survey provided detailed information about the different plots that make up the estate. The renovation of the winemaking facilities and the construction of an experimental winery were key to taking a leap forward with the release of Finca Martelo in the 2012 vintage. This is a refined red wine that combines Rioja's fine wine tradition with a terroir-driven approach.
