The Fino Palmas collection explores the aging potential of Palomino grapes along four aging stages, from what can be called an old Fino to an extremely old Amontillado. This is stage one —an “en rama” (unfiltered) Fino aged for six years in the traditional solera system. The year 2015 does not refer to the vintage but to the date when it was drawn out of the cask. Plenty of flor character, with chamomile and bread aromas. Bone-dry yet elegant with a distinctive creaminess and long finish. 17.0 points
