Beyond wine

Send us your best Wine Lover shots of the summer

Yolanda Ortiz de Arri | July 7th, 2015

Everyone is looking forward to the summer holidays to rest, travel or have fun, but some of us wine nerds set ourselves an extra task which is little understood by the rest of humanity: to spend our time off in places where wine is made and get a chance to visit wineries and vineyards and taste as many gorgeous wines as we can.

The photos in this gallery are just a taster; I don’t pretend to win a Pulitzer Prize with them, but they capture fun moments when wine was present. That’s the name of the game. Both Amaya Cervera and myself plan to share other shots but we would love to receive yours at with the hashtag #SWLsummer on the subject of your email. Please tell us also your name and where the picture was taken.

The funniest, those that make us jealous or simply those shots that capture happiness with a glass (or bottle) of wine in hand, will be shared on our social media pages. At the end of the summer, we will publish a final recap with the photos of our Top Spanish Wine Lovers to start September with a smile.

Now the small print. We understand that by sending us your pictures you consent to them being published on this website, where they will credited with the author’s name. For this reason, we ask you to send pictures that have been taken by you or alternatively, photos of which you are the rightful owner. Spanish Wine Lover will not assume any responsibility derived from the improper use of intellectual property.

Happy summer, wine lovers!
